Dr. Paul Augustine is a highly respected Surgical Oncologist with nearly three decades of experience in comprehensive cancer care. He is widely recognized for his expertise in breast cancer and sarcoma surgery, and for pioneering advanced oncological surgical techniques in Kerala.

A former Head of the Division of Surgical Oncology at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, Dr. Augustine has been instrumental in introducing sentinel lymph node biopsy, oncoplastic breast surgery, breast reconstruction, minimally invasive and robotic surgical oncology in the region. He has successfully managed thousands of complex cancer surgeries and is known for combining clinical precision with compassionate patient care.

Dr. Augustine is also an accomplished academician and researcher, with 70+ peer-reviewed publications and extensive involvement in national and international clinical trials. He has mentored and trained over 70 surgical oncologists, contributed to postgraduate and fellowship programs, and played a key role in community-based cancer prevention and early detection initiatives.
