Introduction

Dr. Regi Paul is a distinguished Professor of Community Medicine and Epidemiologist with over two decades of experience in medical education, public health research, ethics, and community-based health interventions. She is the Director of Snehita Women’s Health Foundation, an organization dedicated to early detection and prevention of cancer among women.

Her work focuses on cancer epidemiology, breast cancer risk assessment, health systems research, bioethics, and implementation science. Dr. Regi Jose has played a pivotal role in developing and validating the Snehita Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool, which is currently used by the Government of Kerala for population-level risk stratification.

An award-winning academician, she has led multiple NIH and ASCO-funded international research projects, authored numerous scientific publications, and served as Chairperson and Member Secretary of Institutional Ethics Committees. She has personally conducted 30,000+ clinical breast examinations through community outreach programs, reflecting her deep commitment to preventive healthcare.
